Strategy Realization – Project and Delivery Description
What does delivery look like within the framework of the Strategy Engine®? Explore our modules for effective strategy realization.
Our Strategy Realization Modules
Strategy realization consists of eight modules that ensure sustainable and robust change and strategy realization. A project may consist of some or all modules, depending on the organization’s needs.
Module 0 – Analysis and Alignment
The goal is to gain a deeper understanding of the current situation, both culturally and structurally, and to establish the foundation for a productive partnership. Integ Partner has a proven approach to capture both explicit and implicit statuses regarding work methods and culture. This is done through interviews, reading, and visits.
The outcome forms the basis for customizing the other modules and their delivery.
Module 1 – Integration
The goal is to utilize existing structures, timelines, methods, language, policies, etc., as much as possible. What’s good and familiar is reused, and what needs change is adapted appropriately.
The module may include training or adjustments in approach, materials, language, and timelines, typically conducted in direct collaboration with leadership and other functions such as HR and IT, ongoing throughout the assignment.
The result serves as the basis for the adaptation of the remaining modules and their delivery.
Module 2 – Future Story and Locomotive Goals
The goal is to translate the developed strategic map into a communicative message for the organization and others who need to be engaged to succeed. Involvement that drives accountability and results relies on everyone understanding the long-term vision, short-term focus, and their role within it. This module develops this understanding through guided workshops with leadership, formulating the vision into a cohesive, engaging “future story” and focus into strategic locomotive goals and a “why” discussion. The goal is communication materials, leaders ready to communicate, and a communication plan.
Module 3 – Structure and Work Design
This module identifies the working methods, structures, roles, and resources required to realize the strategy. It addresses organizational structures, workflows, and the leadership structures necessary to drive, monitor, support, and sustain the strategy amid changing conditions.
The module aims for a united leadership around the structures, workflows, roles, and resources needed to succeed, along with an implementation plan.
Module 4 – Infrastructure for Dialogue and Learning
The goal is to mobilize everyone around the shared vision and achieve a higher level of communication and collaboration.
This is achieved through guided seminars where leadership, managers, and employees meet to discuss insights, challenges, and organizational direction. Teams’ best contributions to the strategy and vision will also be developed and presented to everyone. Seminars repeat every six months for ongoing learning and alignment on challenges, direction, and cross-functional collaboration.
“Teams’ best contributions to strategy and vision are brought forward and presented to all .”
Module 5 – Infrastructure for Execution and Support
The goal is to establish the core of the transformation work. Structured, cohesive frameworks for communication and practical action toward the long-term vision are created. Teams, imbued with accountability and effective collaboration, meet regularly to address their central issues. Actions are tracked and updated during one-hour bi-weekly meetings, with additional individual effort invested. Team members are coached to foster a learning culture.
Initially, trained, experienced coaches are used, transitioning to peer coaching over time.
Integ Partner collaborates with designated organizational resources to create, update, and drive the aspects described above, leading the initial steps and then coaching the organization through its implementation.
Module 6 – Leadership training
The module contains extensive leadership training that covers the need for personal leadership skills and collective skills of all employees. Examples of constituent parts are communication and collaboration, being articulated and clear, creating effective and strong teams that are strengthened by their diversity, and committed and responsible individuals. The modules Analysis and Anchoring and Integration determine the extent to which this module is to be delivered. The methodology is described in more detail in the document General description of our model for leadership development.
Module 7 – Establish your own internal support resources
The Strategy Engine® This module contains training and supervision/coaching of internal support resources and leaders needed to drive a culture transformation using the Strategy Engine®.
Module 8 – Support for senior leaders
This module includes regular conversation support and coaching for senior leaders. The purpose is to strengthen leadership skills in general and to be a support in developing the work organization’s strategic, cultural and operational capabilities.
